The Government of Japan has contributed 2.2 million US dollars, to the World Food Programme to provide life-saving nutrition assistance to nearly 40,000 vulnerable women and children in South Sudan. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, William Chan Achuil, who commended Japan for its continued support to South Sudan.
