AU HIGH-LEVEL DELEGATION EXPECTED IN JUBA AS ELECTIONS PERIOD LOOMS

<p >the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, James Pitia Morgan, has convened  with the Deputy Head the African Union mission in South Sudan, Prosper N. Addo, in Juba regarding the ongoing engagements and preparations for the forthcoming visit of Jakaya Kikwete, the African Union High Representative for South Sudan. The visit is expected to focus on consultations regarding the African Union’s support to South Sudan’s election preparations and democratic governance processes. Minister Morgan welcomes the planned visit and commends the African Union for its continued contribution to peacebuilding and democratic development in the country.<o:p></o:p></p>
