Preparations for the burial of late liberation hero General Joseph Lagu Yanga are progressing at the Dr. John Garang Mausoleum in Juba, with construction teams working to complete the grave and improve the surrounding area ahead of the state funeral. The SPLM Second Deputy Chairperson, Dr James Wani Igga, who is overseeing the preparations, described General Lagu’s death as a great loss to the country, saying it is his duty and honour to ensure the late leader receives a dignified burial.
