GOVERNMENT TO REHABILITATE WAU–KUAJOK–AWEIL HIGHWAY

<p >The National Minister of Roads and Bridges, Peter Lam Both, has announced that local authorities in the Bahr el Ghazal region will directly supervise the rehabilitation of the highway linking Wau, Kuajok, and Aweil. He made the remarks in Kuajok, Warrap State, during an assessment tour of the road network……<b><o:p></o:p></b></p><p > Deputy Governor of Warrap State, Aluel Garang Garang, appeals for more support to the construction of feeder roads connecting counties within the state.<o:p></o:p></p><p > Undersecretary in the Ministry of Roads and Bridges, Gabriel Makur Amour, urges communities to cooperate with construction efforts by avoiding encroachment on road reserves.<o:p></o:p></p><p> </p><p > The rehabilitation project is expected to improve connectivity, trade, and service delivery across the Greater Bahr el Ghazal region.<o:p></o:p></p>
