PRESIDENT KIIR CONCLUDES BAHR EL GHAZAL PEACE & DEV’T TOUR, RETURNS TO JUBA

<p >President Salva Kiir Mayardit has returned to Juba after a week-long visit to the Bahr el Ghazal region. During the visit, President Kiir addressed public rallies, urging citizens to maintain peace, invest in agriculture, and prepare for the general elections scheduled for December Presidential Press Secretary Arek Ajou Deng, the tour focused on mobilising communities around national unity and economic activity.<b>  </b>During the tour, President Kiir engaged with local communities in Wau, Kuajok, Akon, and Aweil, where he listened to their concerns and pledged to address the issues affecting their livelihoods. The communities in the region expressed optimism that President Kiir would return to the State House with a first-hand understanding of the challenges facing communities across the region, particularly in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.<o:p></o:p></p>
