The Ministerial High-Level Committee on Economic Reforms has convened with officials from Crawford-Capital Pay and the South Sudan Revenue Authority, SSRA, to review the government’s cash payments policy. The meeting, chaired by the Minister of East African Community Affairs, General Pieng Deng Kuol, discussed the progress of revenue collection and cash payment systems managed by the two institutions. The committee’s Rapporteur and Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, James Mawich Makuach, says the presentation by the two institutions had addressed the committee’s concerns. The committee commended Crawford-Capital Pay and SSRA for improvements in revenue collection and urged them to sustain the progress.
