President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Wednesday received a detailed report from the Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Atong Kuol Manyang, on key programs within the ministry and plans to strengthen the countryΓ’β¬β’s economic sector.Γ’β¬Ε½Minister Atong briefed the President on the ongoing performance of the National Bureau of Standards, focusing on its efforts to ensure the safety of imported food, as well as the quality of medicines and vehicles entering the country.Γ’β¬Ε½Γ’β¬Ε½The Minister also updated the president on the upcoming launch of the South Sudan Trade Information Hub, slated for tomorrow. She said the platform is aimed at improving access to trade-related information and streamlining business processes. H.E. the president gave his full approval for the initiative, underlining government support for reforms aimed at fostering trade transparency and efficiency.
