This follows a briefing to President Salva Kiir Mayardit by the Governor of Jonglei State, Dr. Riek Gai Kok, on the state's general security situation, which he describes as relatively stable, saying communities are returning to their homes to rebuild their livelihoods as the government continues to take responsibility for protecting civilians.
