South Sudan, UNMISS Reaffirm Commitment To Peace

<p >Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. James Pitia Morgan, and the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General Anita Kiki Gbeho, in Juba have discussed implementation of the UNMISS mandate, the humanitarian situation, preparations for the elections, and other issues of mutual interest. Dr. Morgan reaffirms the Government’s commitment to working closely with UNMISS in advancing peace, stability and the implementation of its mandate. Anita Kiki Gbeho reiterates UNMISS’s commitment to supporting South Sudan and maintaining close cooperation with the Government in line with the mission’s mandate. <o:p></o:p></p>
