South Sudan, Sudan To Strengthen Bilateral Ties

<p >Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr. James Pitia Morgan has convened talks  with Sudanese Ambassador  to South Sudan, Issam Mohammed Karrar in Juba to discuss issues of mutual interest between South Sudan and Sudan. During the meeting, Ambassador Karrar delivered a congratulatory message from Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohi El-Din Salem Ahmed Ibrahim to Dr. Morgan on the occasion of South Sudan’s 15th Independence Anniversary. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two neighbouring countries. Discussions also covered Sudan’s support for South Sudan’s forthcoming elections and the assistance provided by the Government of Sudan to South Sudanese citizens stranded at the Sudan-Egypt border. <o:p></o:p></p>
