Road construction on the Akon-Mangar embankment link in Manalor Payam, Tonj North County,

<p>Road construction on the Akon-Mangar embankment link in Manalor Payam, Tonj North County, Warrap State is progressing steadily, with work advancing on the key transport route under Pawak Construction Company led by Managing Director Kuol Kuol-Manut.</p><p><br></p><p>The project forms part of a broader corridor designed to improve connectivity between Warrap State, Lakes State, and Unity State, enhancing movement of people and goods across the region.</p><p><br></p><p>According to Kuol Kuol-Manut, Managing Director of Pawak Construction Company, the corridor will link Cueibet, Tonj South, Tonj North, Gogrial East, Twic, and Mayom counties through a feeder road network aimed at opening up long-isolated areas.</p><p><br></p><p>Once completed, the project is expected to boost trade, improve access to essential services, and support humanitarian operations, while also strengthening security response and easing movement during elections and rainy seasons.</p>
