TORIT AUTHORITIES CONSULT WITH COS ON PROBING KAPOETA EAST LEADER’S KILLING

<p >Eastern Equatoria authorities led by Governor  Louis Lobong, have consulted with the Council of States' Business Committee, chaired by Speaker Daniel Akot Akot, on launching an investigation into last week’s killing of the commissioner of Kapoeta East, Lucio Stephen Lomongen, in the Kassengor area. At the meeting, the delegation submitted a memorandum appealing for a decisive and transparent investigation and for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. The Deputy Chairperson of the Council's Defense and Security Committee, Daniel Lual Abu Shok, explained the outcomes of the meeting.<o:p></o:p></p>
