Economic Cluster Resolves To Lift Restrictions On Cash Withdrawals

<p >The Economic Cluster, chaired by Vice President Dr. James Wani Igga, reviews government proposals aimed at restoring economic stability, addressing public sector salary delays, and strengthening fiscal sustainability in the country, after a comprehensive presentation from the Minister of Finance and Planning, Kuol Daniel Ayuol, on easing financial pressures facing citizens. Economic Cluster spokesperson, doubling as Deputy Agriculture Minister, Lily Albino Akol says the cluster resolves to lift restrictions on individual cash withdrawals by commercial banks. The meeting also directs the Bank of South Sudan and the Ministry of Finance and Planning to urgently engage relevant institutions, including commercial banks, to implement the decision and address concerns affecting access to cash services.<o:p></o:p></p>
