JUBA & MOSCOW DEEPEN ECONOMIC RELATIONS AS RUSSIA CELEBRATES NAT’L DAY

<p >Juba and Moscow have demonstrated their renewed commitment to deepening bilateral relations for mutual benefit for South Sudan and Russia. This comes following the participation of the Vice-President for the infrastructure Cluster, Taban Deng Gai in the celebration of the National Day of the Russian Federation organized by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in South Sudan, attended by a number of officials, diplomats, and public figures. Vice President conveyed President Kiir’s congratulatory message to the people of Russia, reaffirming the government’s commitment to enhancing economic and investment cooperation, while welcoming Russian investors to support development efforts in the country.<o:p></o:p></p><p> </p><p >For his part, the Russian Ambassador to South Sudan, Alexander Kosmodemyanskiy, reaffirmed Russia’s interest in expanding areas of partnership in ways that serve mutual interests and promote development and stability in both countries. <o:p></o:p></p>
