<p>The Transitional National Legislative Assembly has directed all Members of Parliament in possession of vehicles bearing National Legislative Assembly registration numbers to undergo a mandatory re-registration process. According to a directive issued by the Deputy Speaker for Administration and Finance, Abuk Payiti Ayik, affected members are required to report to the Head Drivers’ Office at the Assembly premises for the exercise, which will be conducted free of charge. The directive states that the re-registration process will run for two weeks beginning June 12, 2026, and is intended to enhance administrative efficiency, accountability, and transparency in the management of official vehicles. The Assembly leadership has called on all concerned members to comply with the directive within the stipulated period to ensure effective service delivery.</p>
