<p >one-month training for accountants facilitated by the Ministry of Finance and Planning’s Directorate of Accounts has concluded in Juba, with a call on trained officials to uphold professionalism when executing their duties—ensuring that accountability and transparency are always reflected for better service delivery to the South Sudanese citizens. The Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Thok Turuk Thok, emphasized important role accounting officers play in developing practical action plans for monitoring reforms in addition to keeping government’s records appropriately and improving accountability in public expenditure.<o:p></o:p></p>
