SENIOR ENVOY VISITS PUBLIC HEALTH INSTITUTE TO BOOST EBOLA PREPAREDNESS

<p >Senior Presidential Envoy on Special Programs, Adut Kiir, has reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening South Sudan's preparedness against the threat of Ebola following a visit to the National Public Health Institute (NPHI) in Juba.<b> </b>Accompanied by the Minister of Health, Luke Thompson, the Envoy engages with health officials and development partners to prevent a possible Ebola outbreak.<b> </b>Health experts and partners welcomed the Envoy's visit, highlighting several challenges facing response efforts, including logistical constraints that need increased support to strengthen surveillance and emergency response systems.<b>  </b>Adut donated vehicles to strengthen logistics and facilitate the transportation of medical supplies to various parts of the country.<b><o:p></o:p></b></p>
