The Central Equatoria State Security Committee, chaired by Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony, strongly condemned all forms of criminal activities within Juba City and expressed concern over incidents of insecurity along major roads connecting the capital to other parts of the country. Among the resolutions reached was the deployment and strengthening of security patrols along key highways, including the Juba–Yei Road, Juba–Torit Road, and the road linking Juba to Western Equatoria State. The committee noted that enhanced patrols will help safeguard travellers, facilitate trade, and improve public confidence. On public health, the committee reaffirmed that there are currently no confirmed Ebola cases, urging residents to continue observing preventive measures and remain vigilant to protect themselves and their communities.
