The National Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has handed over the Torit Milk Centre to Eastern Equatoria State authorities and beneficiaries under the World Bank-funded Resilient Agricultural Livelihood Project. Acting Undersecretary Dr. Loro George Leju Lugor says the project aims to promote self-employment and improve family livelihoods, urging proper management of the facility. Acting caretaker Governor Joseph Logie calls on residents to protect the centre, warning against the misuse of public funds and urging accountability. Meanwhile, Torit Municipal Chief Executive Officer Solomon Ohson pledges security support and cooperation with the management to ensure effective utilisation of the facility.
