The Acting Governor of Central Equatoria State, Paulino Lukudu Obede, has been briefed by the Joint Committee responsible for overseeing the follow-up and implementation of the Arua Resolution documented during the recent discussions held in Kajokeji involving Juba and Kampala authorities. Both parties acknowledged that the implementation is proceeding effectively, particularly at the level of County Commissioners and local authorities on both sides of the border. During the briefing, the Committee presented a collaborative plan to conduct a field visit to the border areas to engage with communities in Kajokeji County and Moyo District in Uganda.
