The National Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Clement Juma, during a meeting with Central Equatoria state Minister, Lily Kapuki in Juba, has pledged to support local farmers with essential tools to boost food production. The discussions also focused on strengthening coordination mechanisms and addressing challenges facing the state agriculture ministry. The Ministry’s Undersecretary for Cooperatives, Anthony Majak Achuoth says Minister Juma pledged to work closely with the state ministry to improve food production nationwide. State Minister Kapuki underscored the need for collaboration with the national ministry to elevate the country’s agricultural sector.
