Journalists from various media houses have completed a two-day capacity-building programme on ethical electoral reporting, organised by the National Elections Commission (NEC) in collaboration with the Union of Journalists of South Sudan (UJOSS), ahead of the December 2026 General Elections. The training aimed to equip media practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to provide accurate, impartial and professional coverage of the forthcoming elections. The two-day session concluded with key recommendations from the NEC, UJOSS and participants, focusing on the practical application of the knowledge gained to strengthen professional media standards.
