The Acting Speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ambrose Lomin Pitia, has opened a three-day programme for members of the Committee on Legislation and Justice and other specialised standing committees. The facilitated by the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law, with support from the German Foreign Office, focuses on the legislative cycle and related topics. Rt. Hon. Ambrose Lomin has urged lawmakers to actively participate in the sessions and apply the knowledge gained to strengthen law-making in the country, commending the Max Planck Foundation for its continued support in building the capacity of members and staff of the national legislature.
