The SPLM is taking significant steps to rebuild trust with the people of Fangak County, Jonglei State, by kicking off a membership registration drive. This marks the first major political initiative from the SPLM in the area since the conflict began. The registration exercise is being officially launched by Fangak County Commissioner and SPLM Chairperson, Johnson Kuol Gai, who emphasizes that the initiative would provide residents with a chance to join the party.
He also expresses his appreciation for Jonglei State Governor and SPLM Chairperson, Dr. Riek Gai Kok, while reaffirming Fangak’s dedication to bolstering the party at the grassroots level. This initiative is anticipated to enhance political engagement, restore trust, and foster unity throughout Fangak County.
