Transport Minister Rizik Zakaria Hassan discusses with Governor Bol Wek and Trinity Company the possibilities of completing the construction of the departure and arrival terminals at Kuajok State Airport, ahead of the upcoming elections.
The project is being implemented by the Ministry and the Warrap government, with funding from Trinity group pf Companies. According to the project strategy, the airport's capacity ranges from 500 to 1,000 passengers per year. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Paul Dhel Gum, stated that the meeting also discussed the possibility of extending the airport runway to 3.5 kilometers up from 2.1 kilometers.
