The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, has embarked on the Yei region peace and reconciliation tour ahead of the December 2026 general elections as he moves through Lainya County. Governor Adil is accompanied by members of the National and Central Equatoria State Legislative Assemblies, State Ministers, and officials from the State SPLM Secretariat. The tour aims to engage communities, assess challenges facing residents, and promote civic awareness and peaceful participation in the electoral process. The delegation is expected to meet local leaders, community members, and other stakeholders to discuss security, development priorities, and service delivery.
