Speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, Rt. Hon. Joseph Ngere Paciko, has chaired the first meeting of the newly formed Committee for the Facilitation of Assembly Business to prepare the agenda for the upcoming parliamentary session.
During the meeting, Speaker Joseph Ngere Paciko congratulated the newly appointed committee chairpersons and their deputies, urging them to work together despite their political differences.
Parliament’s Information Committee Chairperson and Official Spokesperson, Honourable Oliver Mori Benjamin, said the committee approved the inclusion of five proposals for discussion during the next sitting of the National Legislative Assembly.
