Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has pledged full government support for youth empowerment after receiving a 100-day work plan from the Central Equatoria State Youth Union (CESYU). The plan focuses on peacebuilding, entrepreneurship, youth participation in governance, and skills development. Governor urges young people to champion literacy, promote girls’ education, engage in agriculture, and reject division and hate. Anthony also called on the Youth Union to intensify youth mobilization ahead of the December General Election, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to supporting youth-led initiatives across the state. The Youth Union lauds the Governor’s open-door policy and pledges to work closely with the state government and development partners to advance peace, skills training, and sustainable livelihoods for young people.
