BoSS Board Reviews Efforts To Strengthen Banking & Monetary Stability

<p >The Board of Directors of the Bank of South Sudan has concluded its second-quarter meeting, reviewing monetary matters, macro-economic developments and the overall performance of the Bank Chaired by Governor Johnny Ohisa Damian, the two-day meeting also discussed Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing, risk management and institutional performance. The Board further received a briefing on the importance of purchasing gold reserves under the Bank of South Sudan Act to support economic growth and stability. The nine-member Board is the Bank's highest policy and decision-making organ, responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the institution's management. <o:p></o:p></p>
