<p >The government moves to defuse tensions between Eastern Equatoria and Pibor following an alleged assassination of the Kapoeta East County, Stephen Lowothio in Kassengor area. This comes during a meeting involving Presidential Advisor on National Security Affairs Tut Gatluak Manime, Governor of Eastern Equatoria, Louis Lobong Lojore, and Chief Administrator of Greater Pibor Administrative Area, Gola Boyoi Gola, on finding peaceful solutions to political and security tensions. Tut Gatluak urged both leaders to exercise restraint and promote peace, unity and coexistence among their communities. He also announced that the national government will establish a high-level fact-finding committee to investigate the incident and engage local communities. Senior security officials attended the meeting as part of efforts to restore peace and stability in the affected areas.<o:p></o:p></p>
