VP DR. IGGA ASSURES INTERVENTION AFTER KAPOETA EAST COMMISSIONER’S KILLING

<p >Vice President James Wani Igga has assured government intervention to restore peace following the killing of Kapoeta East County Commissioner, Lucio Stephen Lomongen.<b> </b>The Vice President received a delegation from Eastern Equatoria State led by Governor Louis Lobong Lojore, who briefed him on the incident that occurred on the 11th of this month in the Kessengor area.<b> </b>Governor Lobong says they are consulting with the national government ahead of a thorough investigation into the incident to hold killers accountable, appealing for a shared intervention to de-escalate tensions.<o:p></o:p></p>
