GOV’T, WFP SEEK DEEPER PARTNERSHIP TO BOOST FOOD SECURITY

<p>The National Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Clement Juma, engages in talks with the World Food Programme (WFP) Country Director and Representative, Mutinta Chimuka, to reinforce the partnership between the ministry and the UN agency, with a central focus on scaling up local food production and crop output. In a media statement, Undersecretary for Food Security Dr. Michael Roberto, says the meeting explored long-term strategic engagement. For her part, Mutinta emphasized the WFP's commitment to supporting South Sudan's most vulnerable farming communities. </p>
