ICT & PS MINISTER HOLDS TALKS WITH TELECOM OPERATORS

<p >The Minister of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, Ateny Wek Ateny  has convened a meeting with the leadership of the country’s major telecommunication operators that include Zain, MTN and Digital to address pressing challenges in the sector and bolster network readiness for the upcoming elections. The meeting centered on expanding rural connectivity and resolving operational hurdles. Speaking to SSBC, the Director of Research and Planning in the National Communication Authority, Chol Joseph Mayen said the discussions weighed on the operator’s state preparedness to ensure seamless communication during the electoral process. he stated that the Minister assure the operators on the government unwavering commitment to address the challenges facing the telecommunication operators. <o:p></o:p></p>
