<p>Journalists from various media houses across South Sudan have gathered in Juba for a two-day national training on Early Warning Systems aimed at enhancing media capacity in disaster risk communication and promoting timely action to save lives. The training, organized by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management in partnership with the South Sudan Red Cross, seeks to equip media practitioners with the skills and knowledge required to effectively communicate early warning information amid increasing climate-related shocks and other disasters. </p>
