Juba and Rome have renewed efforts to deepen their bilateral relations for mutual benefit. This follows a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. James Pitia Morgan, and the Italian Ambassador-designate to South Sudan, Sem Fabrizi, which focused on strengthening ties between South Sudan and Italy.
The two officials reaffirmed their respective countries’ commitment to supporting peacebuilding efforts, humanitarian assistance, and development cooperation in South Sudan.
