ICT&PS MINISTER ATENY HONORS DISTINGUISHED MEDIA PERSONALITIES AT A DINNER

The Minister of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services Hon. Ateny Wek Ateny has honored journalists for long and distinguished service at a media dinner on Saturday. The invite-only event drew media managers, editors, senior editors and social media personalities. Members of the diplomatic corps, government leaders and civil society groups also attended. Speaking to attendees, Hon. Ateny said the event would become an annual gathering every year. He commended journalists and media executives for their contributions to nation building and encouraged them to do more, particularly in the lead up to national elections.
