The SPLM Secretary General Dr. Akol Paul Kordit has told the newly sworn in Western Equatoria State Secretary David Paulino Simbi to mobilise for party primaries and the State Congress as the nation enters election period, with all aspiring candidates begin to return to their respective constituencies to advance their manifestoes. Separately, Dr. Kordit has convened talks with the church leaders to discuss preparations for the elections. Church representative Peter Adum Deng says the churches will pray for the country.
