The Honorable Amb. Dr. James Pitia Morgan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received H.E. Sebastian Brokelmann, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of South Sudan.The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the state of bilateral relations and areas of mutual interest, as well as developments in South Sudan and the wider region. Discussions included preparations for the upcoming General Elections, the Government’s plans and priorities ahead of the elections, key national issues, and the humanitarian situation.The two sides also discussed ongoing Ebola preparedness efforts, humanitarian operations, and other matters of mutual concern.The Minister and the Ambassador reaffirmed the importance of continued engagement and constructive dialogue in further strengthening the longstanding cooperation between South Sudan and Germany.
